A gemini born in 1986, has the middle-low vocal part of the group. Along with Xiah, he is the middle voice of the group. He is an important figure that brightens up the mood and atmosphere with his funny personality. Perhaps he couldn't hide his talent even when he was little, for he won the highest award at the Korean/American Music Contest and the KBN Music Contest for young adults. Is very interested in composing and wrote over 100 songs, and the members personally like his song the best out of the ones the members composed. Joined the team last year and left his family in America, and he admits that he sometimes misses driving around New York. But he says that this moment, right now, is the happiest of his life.

Micky Yoochun's English is pretty good. Its because he lived in the states when he was Young. Yoochun immigrated to Fairfax, Virginia where his uncle lived when he was in elementary school (6th grade). He attended Holmes Middle School and Chantilly High School. In 2001, at a song festival, he won the daesang and started to spread his name around. Last Year in a Youth music festival, he recieved a special award and because of that, he caught one of SM's recruiting teams attention. Yoo Chun's piano skills and song writing skills are great. He has written over 100 songs now. He has good taekwondo skills too. In elementary school he represented the state's taekwondo team and performed with them on 'Children's day". Micky Yoochun who has lots of talents, recently announced that he gave up his U.S citizenship. It was to concentrate on his singing career. In order to keep up with the U.S citizenship he has to go to the states 2 or 3 times in a year. So it would be hard to peform in Korea all the time. Yoochun has announced that when he becomes an adult, he is going to join the army with DBSG members.

He was scouted by Brothers Entertainment and went back to South Korea, where he joined SM Entertainment. He has a younger brother named Park Yoohwan.

Micky is featured in "Tokyo Lovelight" from DJ Makai's Stars (mini-album). He and band-mate U-know are also featured rappers in "Heartquake" from Super Junior's Third Album, Sorry, Sorry.

In 2006, he made an appearance guest in Rainbow Romance. Although unaired, Micky had also participated in another drama, "Dating on Earth" in the same year. He plays one of the male leads, alongside bandmate, Hero.

Micky has written and composed several songs that have appeared on TVXQ's Korean and Japanese albums. As a member of SM Town, he contributed to the 2007 winter album Only Love with his composition "Evergreen". Micky also wrote and composed "Sarang Annyeong Sarang (Love Bye Love)" (사랑 안녕 사랑), featured on the group's fourth Korean studio album Mirotic. For the Trick project, he wrote the lyrics to his solo "My Girlfriend", entirely in English. "Kiss the Baby Sky", one of the A-side's for TVXQ's twenty-fifth Japanese single, marked the first time that one of the songs both written and composed by Micky was released on a Japanese single.

With band-mates U-Know and Xiah, Micky wrote the rap lyrics to "Love After Love", which appeared on their second Korean studio album, Rising Sun. For the group's Japanese releases, Micky wrote and co-composed "Kiss Shita Mama, Sayonara" (Kissしたまま、さよなら, lit. As We Kiss, Goodbye) with Hero for T, TVXQ's third Japanese album. In September 2009, he and Hero released a self-written duet, "Colors (Melody and Harmony/Shelter)", which was used as the image song for Hello Kitty's 35th anniversary.

How I Met TVXQ

The first time they caught my attention they were actors in some Korean drama called Banjun Theater.
They were amazingly entertaining and I instantly liked them...

During that time there are other things that occupied my mind so I eventually lost interest in them

Months passed and fate made its move.
A friend of mine that I haven't seen for a long time mistakenly sent me a message that mentioned something about a group called DBSK.
The message wasn't intended for me but for some other person who has the same name as mine.
The name DBSK was so familiar that I tried to recall where I've heard or seen that name.
That same friend introduced to me a song called "Doushite Kimi wo Suki ni Natte Shimattandarou", the longest song title I've ever heard.
In English it means "Why did I end up falling for you."
I saw the music video of that song and seeing their faces made me recall everything.

Being a music lover I fell in love with that song instantly.
What made them more amazing to me is that they could speak Japanese so fluently.
And that's when I started to become a fan.

TVXQ won the Best Asia Star Award
They won so I should be happy but no...
I feel like crying because right there on the stage stood three of the members...
just the three of them...


Then Jaejoong said, "I don't know if they are watching this or not... But just in case they are... I would like to tell those two friends that I love them"

It was new year's eve. I was watching television while waiting for the year 2010 to come.
I switched the channel to NHK and saw a jpop group that I'm familiar with.
Later I realized that the show was called Kouhaku, an event that happens every new year's eve where all the big artists in Japan performs.
I waited a little more hoping to see the five guys that I adore. And I did...
I saw them sing "Stand by U" that night.
It was so unexpected that I was so happy to see them and that I didn't realize the pain they were feeling at that time. I didn't notice the unhappiness emanating from Tohoshinki in that performance. And I had no idea that that live performance will probably be their last.
At that time I already know about the law suit but I didn't realize the seriousness of it.
I searched the net and I was able to watch that performance again.
And then I finally noticed.
In the Secret Code Concert before the law suit I saw a radiant TVXQ.


In Kouhaku after the law suit I saw a mournful TVXQ.


"Stand by U" is a sad ballad but their performance in Kouhaku made it even more mournful than it was supposed to be.

I can see how these five guys matured during the past year...

Xiah Junsu
He's so funny and he always wear a bright smile that even though he's not doing anything... by just looking at him I find myself laughing for no reason


Lately, he released a single entitled Intoxication and after that...
Gone all his cute image that he's been trying to put up for so long...

A good hardworking leader. I've always believed TVXQ doesn't need a leader. Every member knows their roles and are amazing on their own.
But right now... Right now Leader-sshi is most needed...


It was definitely fate that made me able to meet them.
It was music that made me fall in love with them.
By singing their songs I also learned how to sing from the heart...
By being so dorky they made me laugh so many times...
Through their heartbreaking songs they made me cry so many times...

Crying while listening to their songs is ok
But crying because I miss them so much is not.
It's alright to cry if these tears are because of "Love in the Ice", "Saranga Uljima", "Jigeum Cheoreom", "White lie", "Afterglow", "Wasurenaide" or "Proud"

And as time passes by it feels like that FAITH fades little by little...
And I'm scared that instead of hearing news like "TVXQ are going to release their next album..." I will hear something like "TVXQ announced their official disbandment"
I'm scared that their "Stand by U" Kouhako performance will be their last live performance as TVXQ
I'm scared that I wouldn't be able to see them in a live stage again

2009 up to present - boycott. Cassies stopped buying Dong Bang Shin Ki's album to prevent SME from earning more than they deserve.
July 4, 2010 - Worldwide flash mob. Cassies around the world danced to TVXQ's songs in different countries at the same time.
Big East made Tohoshinki number 1 in japan charts by buying Best Selection 2010, Break Out, Toki wo Tomete and A-side and B-side Collection album.

I think it's so amazing how these four characters could be read in many different ways and yet still means one thing...

"Gods Rising from the East"


Cassiopeia...

A constellation in the northern sky with the "W" formation made by five bright stars. In the Greek mythology it is considered to represent the vain queen Cassiopeia who boasted about her unrivaled beauty.


It is also the name that befits the people who loves 東方神起 wholeheartedly.
I want to call myself this name because although unofficial I know I share the same feelings as those official Cassies from Korea and Big East from Japan.

Changmin
& Yunho

It's just a year ago when I met these five amazing guys. A little late I guess because a few months later I heard the news about their possible disbandment.
Other Cassies had been with them since the very beginning while I, on the other hand, supported them right before the stop of their group activities.

I wish I met them before that...
I wish I knew them since they started as TVXQ...
I wish I was with them from the very beginning...
I wish... No...
I hope there's still a chance for me to see them in a live concert together as 東方神起
I hope... this isn't the end.

I can't do anything for the past... for all those years that I missed.
But at least I could still hope for a future with 東方神起 as a group.

Someone asked me why I like 東方神起 so much.
Why indeed?
I told him its because they're talented, they have amazing voices, they can dance really well and they're all good-looking.
A typical answer, I know...
But I also know that deep inside me there is more than that.
I wish I could tell him all the things that makes me love 東方神起 so much but words aren't enough.

東方神起 is like a family.
They cry together, laugh together, always having fun together.
Laughter never stops when they're around.
They're not like any other group.
They were not created to pose and look good on camera.
They don't sing and dance so they could look cool.
They ARE COOL because they sing and dance from the heart.
They share the same dream.
Music is their passion and that's what binds them together.
I've never met them in person but I feel like I've known them for so long.

Right now, 東方神起 is in the brink of disbandment.
As a fan I know they've been through a lot.
I know that they gave up so much to achieve their dream.


I might not be able to see them in a live stage again as 東方神起. I don't like it a bit and I'm sure Junsu, Micky, Jaejoong, Changmin, and Yunho doesn't like it either.
I know I'm being selfish for wanting them to stay together but that's because I do believe that the five of them still wants the same thing. And besides the thought of them going different ways hurts me so much.

It's hard I know and they are going through a lot right now but as long as there is hope, I'll ALWAYS KEEP THE FAITH.

I'm waiting and I'll continue to wait and hope for the best...

I've been a music lover for a long time... Way way before I met TVXQ
If someone would ask me why I like music I would probably say "Why wouldn't I?" There's no special reason, really. I just can't live without music.

But after I met TVXQ I realized all the reasons why I like music.

Here is TVXQ, puppets made of lies, but they are able to be by our side. Here is TVXQ, bluebirds of truth, but they are unable to be by our side. Which TVXQ do you want?

I don't believe that the TVXQ I've known before are puppets made of lies. They my have gone through difficult times but singing in front of thousands of cassies... doing the thing that their heart has been dreaming of... I'm sure those aren't lies...

I don't want to choose. I'll let them choose for themselves. Their dream has come true, I know. I also know that they will continue to soar even though there's no longer TVXQ. And maybe... somehow... even without TVXQ and especially without SM Entertainment the would soar even higher... So even if it hurts... I'll accept whatever path they choose... with or without TVXQ

Precious Moments

Seeing them together makes me happy...
A long time ago, there's always the five of them together. It's rare to see them individually.
But now moments like these are precious. Because I don't know when they will be back and work together again.
Even if it's just the two of them... I'm so happy

Miss this more than anyone.

I watch their videos everyday... Listen to their music 24 hrs a day...
And yet I still miss them...
I don't know what's gonna happen and I don't know what I should hope for...
I want them to stay as one and I'm sure Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu, Changmin, and Yunho also want the same thing... But if it's really going to be hard I'm not going to be selfish and just hope for the best.
Until they finally announced that there's no longer a future for TVXQ I'll continue to believe that there's still is. Until then I'll continue to wait for the next album, their next single and their next performance.
If they split up which I know is going to happen in the future anyway (I'm just hoping it's not now) then I'm going to support them individually.

Don't always say we have to be happy, you guys have to be really really happy too~!!

Yunho is not my most favorite member. But I feel like crying after reading this. I want TVXQ to be back as a group not because of selfish reasons like enjoying their performances together but because I believe that's what's best for them. So yeah, I'm one of those fans who want all of them to be happy. But after hearing Yunho say, "you guys have to be really happy too" I thought, "seeing you happy and together will make me really happy, oppa..."

That's why...
